I’m a technologist who ships. My work sits at the intersection of AI, privacy, and open source. I believe the most important AI tools should be ones you can run on your own infrastructure, audit yourself, and trust completely.
Building

Advising
I advise leaders personally on AI strategy and agentic operating models. This is Personal Advisory with Vin Patel: architecture judgment, operating-model coaching, AEO and agentic readiness reviews, and founder/exec sparring — my time and point of view.
It is not staffed delivery, a productized audit SKU, or an implementation retainer. Delivery engagements and paid audits run through company partners — ask and I’ll point you to the right door.
I focus on healthcare, legal, finance, and government, where privacy and compliance are design constraints, not vetoes. Open-source tools I ship — Manuscript and AEORank — are evidence of craft, not a sales funnel.

Background
Over the past 20+ years, I’ve built software at every scale — from solo founder projects to Fortune 500 enterprise systems. My focus today is on AI tools that respect privacy, open-source software that anyone can audit and run, and sharing what I’ve learned through writing and workshops. I’m particularly interested in how AI is reshaping the software development lifecycle and enabling solo founders and micro-teams to build products that previously required large engineering organizations.
